Maybe because you want that person to change his way, you just believe that person can change his way. you love that person, that's why you don't give up on that person. the definition of love is not showing effection to someone, the true definition of love is sacrifice, you take the sacrifice with that person even if you know you are going to hurt, you just love that person.(i hope this help)
