Reaching For A Dream

One of the most beautiful structures in the World, was the realized dream of an engineer in his mid 50's by the name of Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel. As the winner of a contest for a structure in France to commemorate 100 years of freedom, Eiffel's dream met many obstacles including opposition from those who didn't want a structure of the Eiffel Tower to dominate the skyline and from those who doubted that this structure could even practically be built.

Eiffel is a classic example of a dreamer who reached for his dreams and was able to accomplish them despite the obstacles that stood in his way. Ask yourself if you are dreaming or just living, and make sure that if you aren't dreaming that you start NOW! It is never too late or too soon to start dreaming, and to try to accomplish these dreams, and make sure you aren't letting anything stand in your way.

Living in the present isn't always the easiest way for a person to really get the most out of their lives. So often we see life unfolding in the present, but at the same time we allow the present to slip away from us.

The best thing about memories is making them while the best thing about dreaming is that eventually one day we will reach them. Too often as busy individuals we often forget why we are who we are. We are the people that we are today because of the memories made in our pasts, and we also shape our futures based on who we were in the past and our desire to have and be more than we were in our pasts.
