If God does exist, I dont think God has control over our lives as I remember someone saying that the greatest gift that God has given us is the freedom to choose how we lead our lives which I thought was interesting and it makes sense. I believe that what ever happens in our lives (bad or good experiences), we have the choice to deal with it positively or negatively. We have control but not complete control over what happens with our actions but we can control our way of thinking.
