Yes it is but not a favorable skill times when it may be needed perhaps..but in a relationship I think is not as it goes with trust and that and communication are key...For example why lie about who you are and your interst to get a person hooked on you when later even a year later you realize you cant keep up the person who your pretending to be and then youve destroyed that much times of a persons life and perhaps others around you as well ( or if kids were involved that even worse)
