Bears have to endure stings of the hive in order to access the honey; its a sacrifice worthy of the reward. But imagine if a bear spent its entire life looking for honey only from hornet nests, the stings would be excruciatingly painful with no reward. I admit, I have been both of these bears, but I am getting better at knowing the difference.
