Acting doesn't do very much for me. I put off school for it, but its not like it was a sacrifice or anything. I didnt really miss school until I went back. Or maybe I missed it and nobody believed that, not even me. The work of it and I have really great teachers, thats the stuff that adds up for me in a way that acting doesnt.

My work is one thing and my identity is something else, but when acting is all I had, my identity was inevitably tied to my career. So if my career was not doing well, I inevitably felt bad and I did not like that feeling, so having other interests takes the pressure off acting and now its a job I can do and work hard at, but because I have this whole other side to my life, Im not dependent on acting for my self-worth.

I think if anybody who has made a home sex tape knows, what feels best doesnt always look best. I remember when I was 19 doing that, and then watching it back and thinking, Oh, that looks horrible. You have a lot of respect for those actors in pornography, because they are really not just doing it, theyre really selling it.

Im the most nervous I have ever been. I think its actually worse than when I had to give a presentation in my class at Yale. I had to write a paper and then give a conference style presentation about it to my classmates and that was the most terrified I have ever been until now.

I had a close friend in school, and there were rumors that we were gay. Those rumors were started by - who knows? People who were jealous, people who had been picked on, girls who had been picked on. So they started these rumours. I like it now that people said I was gay. It's kind of cool.
