While on film I can be very quiet and be this one kind of intensity; in real life I tend to be very big. Im always the loudest one. Im always the one in the make-up trailer whos making a fool of themselves or getting in trouble for this or that or the other. So I was like, Id like to bring some of that more into my acting. And just as I was starting to do that, the play came along.

I can cook about two things. I can boil hot water for the only pasta I can make. I blame my career, actors work crazy schedules and we are away so often. I just dont have the time to learn how to make stuff. But I need to, when you get back home after shooting there is always a great desire to create some kind of normalcy.

I've been to therapists my whole life. I find the less attention I pay to food, the healthier I am. Any obsession is dangerous. And a whole country that's obsessed with one thing, unless it's, like, jeans, it's very dangerous. Everyone's obsessed right now with carbohydrates in this country. It's ridiculous.

I'm not mainstream-looking. I'm not very skinny. I'm not...like...beautiful. The point of mainstream movies is to cast someone that everyones are going to love. Because of my persona, I'm controversial. I don't do anything in my real life to deserve that. I don't drink, I don't do drugs. But studio people don't want to put me in their movies. They think I might offend.

My first kiss was with the most chivalrous little boy I ever met in my life. It was in kindergarten. There was this kid who was really a jerk, and he wouldn't let me get on the school bus. He was about to hit me when this little boy named Nicky shoved me down, stood up and took the blow. So Nicky instantly became the kindergarten stud. The day he got hit for me, I lined up all the little girls, and everyone kissed him. That was my way of thanking him.
