“Memory is the mother of all wisdom” said Aeschylus. Life is full of memory and every past moment is a memory except for the present split second. A moment lasts all of a second but the memory lives on forever. Benjamin Franklin once remarked in a lighter vein, “creditors have better memory than debtors”.
But the irony of human memory is that we all tend to keep in memory the faults committed by others to us and erase from memory the faults committed by us. So, memory is a two way sword which can be used to the advantage or disadvantage of the individual. Memory has the capability to influence the mood of a person. Depending upon the memory, one can turn on or off the mood. So, try to replenish your memory and filter them so that only the good ones stay on.
