Dreams generally require more than a year to achieve, while a goal is something that can be accomplished or reached in less than a year. Of course, if everything fell into place or you suddenly confronted an unexpected opportunity, even a dream that at first appeared to require many years might be realized within one year. On the other hand, sometimes your dreams may require most of a lifetime, because so many other things have to happen first.
