Fear is simply a perversion of faith. It is faith distorted, twisted, abused, and misused. If fear simply neutralized faith, that would be less threatening, but to reverse it is to bring about injury in a way that neutralizing it cannot. It is like the difference between not making more money and losing all the money you have. One is nonproductive; the other is destructive. Fear corrodes reality to the point that it ceases to resemble the beauty of faith in a perfect divinity.
