Globalization is a process by societies, cultures and economies in different regions across the world have become one. What triggers globalization are communication, transportation and trade. Globalization can be on the economic front too. Economic globalization means uniting of national economies into one international economy. John J. Sweeney had once remarked, “For globalization to work for America, it must work for working people. We should measure the success of our economy by the breadth of our middle class, and the scope of opportunity offered to the poorest child to climb into that middle class.”
Globalization is marked by transnational circulation of culture, languages, idea, philosophies etc. Any region of the world that has already undergone globalization or has experienced it is said to be globalized. In the words of Jimmy Carter, “Globalization, as defined by rich people like us, is a very nice thing... you are talking about the Internet, you are talking about cell phones, and you are talking about computers. This doesn't affect two-thirds of the people of the world.”
