I would give her a choice to give back the phone or make the payment. Let her know you gave her the phone on the stipulation based on your previous relationship. If you were not together would you have invested on the phone to give to her? Probably not! But at least give her a choice. If she decides to want to keep the phone then have her give you the money to make the payments. Don't trust her to make the payments. Otherwise tell her you will cancel the plan and she loses the ability to use it.

Yes you really have the right to get it back. She just used you.. Maybe she only want that iphone 6 thingy that you promised to her.. & then after getting what she want from you she broke up with you because she already get what she wants.
