When you disagree with your partner, do you tend to fight or withdraw?

We both just accept the fact that we think differently and have a different opinion and respect each others thinking.

Being Aspbergian, I withdraw and get steamed up inside - not good for my peace or emotional health - but I do not have in place alternate behaviour(s)that I may use instead of withdrawal. Any suggestions? I am not a combative or confrontational character.

Where did "Goodnight Irene" come from? Was it an old radio show?

I do both. If you withdraw then your partner will accuse of never talking to her. If you only fight then you are an angry person. Better to say I won't fight with you but will talk when we are more calm and relaxed, perhaps over some chocolate :-)
