Though I am not a man and I am not married, I would attend my mother first because she is the one and only one I will get and is in danger whereas my wife seems to be in bed with this guy.. The question doesn't state whether it is being forced upon her or not, but if it isn't, she chose to make that act and can be lectured once my mother has been rescued. again, I am not a guy, but that would be my point of view if I were a guy
