I wont be part of the parties, the countdown, the cheers, because somewhere in the very world I also reside in, a family will be running away from their once-safe homes. Someplace, a family will be boarding a simple dangerous raft, risking their lives to try to attain freedom. And somewhere else, there wont be something called a family. The living members will grieve and remember, their martyred soldier dad, their kidnapped daughter, and their freedom.
