Being happy is all about perspective. Some of the poorest people in the world with just enough to get by have been shown to be more happy than people living in thriving nations and economies and the reasons are fairly obvious should we choose to give them some belief.
While many of us are made to believe that the levels of happiness we will achieve in life correlate with what we possess materially, at some point we have to be willing to confront these beliefs if we are ever going to obtain true happiness.
Happiness comes from being able to be the truest versions of ourselves, and being able to live out the purpose we have in life. We will never be able to control everything around us, but we can control how happy we are by not doubting who we are.
We can be happy by believing we are more than the struggles that we know will come along the way, and because we know there are great heights that we will eventually soar to.
