Telling yourself or someone else not to worry is something that is easy to do, but much harder to accomplish in reality.
Instead of telling ourselves not to worry we must fully engage in exercises that divert us from worrying.
For people like myself getting away from worry means, meditation, hoping, and continuing to believe that there is more to life than the current circumstances that try and bind us.
You are not your circumstances, and your life isn't going to get better without a change in attitude. If you notice that you are applying the same method of worry to your problems when they arise and you aren't seeing a change in anything, please take the alternatives to worrying seriously.
Living a peaceful life means choosing to use alternatives when it comes to developing methods of coping with the stress of everyday life. Believe in something else besides worrying!
