No man is perfect. Perfection cannot be achieved in a day. While striving to achieve perfection, we learn lessons. Burk Hudson rightly said “perfection is a road, not a destination. Every time I live, I get an education”. You can achieve perfection not when there is nothing more to add but when there is nothing left to take away. The target of perfection is eluding because the more you move towards it, the farther it goes away. Improving in each and every stage is a step towards perfection. So, get rid of the mistakes and improve upon each stage and aim towards perfection. Even if you don’t climb the peak of perfection, you will at least have the satisfaction of striving towards it, learning from mistakes during the course. No doubt, striving for excellence motivates you but you may run the risk of getting demoralized while striving for perfection.
