No offence but I have always wanted to ask about Indians?
The outside world knows you as a group of conservative people.so the question is? would you go out with someone of another race against your family wishes???
Yeah its true most of families in India are conservative type but as time is changing thinking of people is also changing there are many instances of their change n free thinking. So I can say now thinking of indian families have changed to a great extent.. As I'm an Indian. :)
