I didnt go to my prom. I was pregnant with Tripp and never went to really any of my school dances. Im going on Dancing With the Stars to step out of my comfort zone but Im not terrified at all. I have tough skin. I think that Ive been criticized a lot in the past, and I think that I will be fine with the criticism. But its difficult! Ive got blisters on my feet. My legs are getting so sore. Abstinence is practical and very realistic for some people, but others dont choose that path. For me, sex education was in school, and there are always people telling you that there are consequences to sex and blah blah, but you dont really realize it until youre in a situation where you are pregnant.

It's really strange. There's so many celebs these days who are anti-bullying, but there's an exclusion to that. We have these actorsand Kathy Griffin who are like bullies. I think it just shows[Griffin's immaturity. I don't think that stuff's funny at all. She just has a weird hate for our family, just like her coming to Alaska and knocking on our front door.

While it's great to listen to your kids' ideas, there's also a time when dads simply need to be dads. In this case, it would've been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that's not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage. Or that as great as her friends may be we know that in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids' worldview.
