Expectation is the belief that something will happen or be the case. Expectation is something that follows every effort that we make, in order to achieve some goal or accomplish any random task. The more efforts we put in, more is the expectation that we have. We become hopeful that our efforts will definitely reap some fruitful results. You can achieve milestones or something big in life, only if you expect fireworks at your end. In the words of Charles Kettering, “High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.”
Expectation without putting in too much effort is bound to go in vain. When any expectation is not met, you feel crestfallen and dejected. It becomes difficult to come out of a shell that you get into, once you fall short of any expectation. In the words of Shakespeare, “Expectation is the root of all heartache.”
