Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. -Helen Keller
Life is a lesson full of many smaller lessons throughout. No one has the answer to every question that life seems to pose, but as we go through the uncharted territory that we call life, we seem to learn more and more. For somewhat makes life great is the ability to prove others wrong, and trying hard to do things that others say they may not be able to do.
Just because the past didn't turn out like you wanted it to doesn't mean your future can't be better than you imagined.
In life there are two main principles of giving and receiving that are relevant to almost any circumstance we are confronted with on a daily basis. If a person wants to be successful in life they have to be willing to "give" hard work, to "receive" the benefits of working hard. If a person wants for people to be genuine with them they must be willing to give "genuine advice and love" in order to receive it back.
If a picture is worth a thousand words an experience is worth a thousand pictures.
Many of the lessons that we learn in life are a result of the things that we experience on a daily basis. In life you will see great friendships and sour ones. You will experience love and all of its joys. You will experience the twisted ways of people that rise against you, and hopefully you'll come to understand why you shouldn't be against others who promote the good in mankind.
No matter who tries to teach you lessons about life, you won't understand it until you have to go through it on your own.
They say that experience is the best teacher. In order to live a successful life you have to be willing to experience every facet of it. Those who are truly successful more often than not have seen some kind of big failure in their lives. Those who continue to strive for more are often pushed by the experiences of the past that they never want to go through again.
Sometimes the most important lessons are the ones we end up learning the hard way.
Have you ever made a decision even though everything inside of you was telling you not to? We all have, and at some points in our lives, we have to be willing to learn the hard way. When we are young we learn things the hard way by have to replace things like bikes we could have saved if we just placed it up properly when we were finished using it.
When I look back on my life, I see pain, mistakes and heartache. When I look in the mirror, I see strength, learned lessons, and pride in myself.
The person we see when we look in the mirror, the person we think of when we think of ourselves, is paramount because we will never be able to be more than we think we are. You can't allow things into your life that you dont think you deserve because most times you won't see them. When you really value yourself, you will also make great use of almost all of your time. It takes us being able to value our time to be able to really value our efforts and ourselves.
