Also it depend what you want to ask him, be your boyfriend? have lunch? accompany to the shopping center? watch movies?. Try to ask him about lunch or dinner together before ask him to be your boyfriend, step by step until he used to be with you and he develop feeling for you (if right now he don't have any feeling)
