People will only disrespect you for as long as you tolerate it. The worst kind of disrespect you can get is from yourself. Love yourself, value yourself, and respect yourself. Carry yourself like royalty. In your eyes you should be seen as nothing less than a queen/King. Self respect can't be bought on a clothing rack or obtained by modesty. It comes from knowing what you'll accept & what you won't. Its about knowing your worth, knowing who you are, & loving yourself because of it. Your value doesn't decrease based on someone's inability to see your worth. Your boss may be less appreciative, you know your worth. People these days gain attention by losing respect. Respect lasts longer than attention. Respect yourself first so you can be able to respect others, you will be respected. You're a boss not a Facebook post. People don't have to like you but they WILL respect you. Being respected has much greater value than being liked.
