Americanism means the virtues of courage, honor, justice, truth, sincerity, and hardihoodthe virtues that made America. The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of soft living and the get-rich-quick theory of life.

My saddest decision in football was leaving Paul Gascoigne out of the 1998 World Cup finals. But he wasn't fit enough and once that decision is made, as a manager and a group of players, you forget about who isn't there and focus on the job.

It goes to show that every federation seems to be growing and putting more money into the women's game, and are developing players from a younger age who are more soccer-savvy than the American players. We are still athletic but the game is beautiful and that is the style we need to build in order to keep winning: we have a long way to go.

It was my proudest moment as a manager when England drew 0-0 with Italy in Rome to qualify for the World Cup finals. Fifteen years later, the stakes are equally high for both countries as they go head-to-head for a semi-final place at the European Championship.

If you truly expect to realize your dreams, abandon the need for blanket approval. If conforming to everyones expectations is the number one goal, you have sacrificed your uniqueness, and therefore your excellence.

Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children's children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches or its romance.

Many people agree with me that many things are not clear in football these days and it is not something people who watch football deserve. The situation will be the same while football is run by people who do not understand football.

I can tell you this for sure, it was when I played baseball in high school and I was in the outfield and I would literally pray to God, I'm not joking, I'd pray to God not to let the ball come to me. I was so bad, I was just terrible. I played soccer, I was the goalie. I would pray to God it didn't get kicked anywhere near me. I was an awful athlete.

For me personally, I am small town girlI grew up in canyon country, California before it became Santa Clarita, back when it had tarantulas and scorpions and coyotes. I went on auditions as a hobby. Other kids went to soccer practice or ballet class, I went on auditions and then as I grew up, about 13, I got my first movie role in Friday, and thats when I decided that I wanted to do this as a career. I kind of have been working since I was 13. Thats my story.

It was a difficult decision to move back to the States but I wanted to do my bit to really help promote the game and grow the sport in America. It was never the same, though. I never felt the same passion for the game in the States and there were a lot of headaches, a lot of obstacles to overcome - it didn't just run itself for the love of the game because soccer is not the No. 1 sport as it is in Europe. It was tough and though I tried to do the right thing, looking at things now with the league suspended and many of the teams I have played in folded, I wish I remained in Europe.

Its kind of frustrating. I play with Eniola Aluko, an English player, and we were talking just the other day about how sad it is that England really doesnt have a womens league because they have some incredible players, some of the best players in the world. And they dont have a womens league! Germany, Japan, has a womens league. WPS is what American players have talked about for years and fortunately we have great support for soccer, we can make this our livelihood, and we can put every ounce of time and money and passion into our sport, which is also our job.

I started dancing when I was young, and I was a dancer my whole life until I got to high school and got into cheerleading. When I was dancing I would dance three times a week and compete on the weekends, and all I did was dance. I would tell my parents that I didn't want to dance and wanted to play other sports like soccer. My mom always said "No, you're going to break your legs, you have to keep dancing." I always complained about it, and now my mom is like, 'Oh, so now see where dancing has gotten you.' I also won a dance competition to become a Nitro Girl for WCW. And now who knows what will happen because I'll be in a dance competition on national television. So, I have to thank my parents for pushing me into dancing when I was growing up. I'm not only going to do this for myself, but I want to do this for every WWE fan out there.
