Being brave is about being courageous. People who are brave possess great levels of strength and fortitude. They stay unperturbed even in the face of testing circumstances and always stay positive. When the going gets tough, they get going. Being brave is a rare quality that very few people possess. Staying cool, calm and collected even when the chips are down is something that you can only expect from someone who is brave. People who stay calm invariably, even in the face of adversities are called “stoic”. Being brave is actually an art. One should develop this quality of being brave, bold and mentally tough. Situations in life are not always hunky dory. You have to see several lows and adversities in life and you can only steer through them by keeping your chin up even when the chips are down and staying optimistically cheerful all the time. This quality will go a long way in making you mentally tough and will surely make you a force to reckon with. In the words of Mary Tyler Moore, “Take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave.”
