A lost love is way more common than it should be in this day and age, partly because many people aren’t willing to work at their relationships like they should, and partly because people are willing to let a love be lost and never look for it again after they lose it. A break up with a lost love is much easier to cope with than a break up with a love that seems to be thriving, because usually both parties involved know that a love is lost and that they should go ahead and cut their losses in order to find a love that will make them happy again.
