Good triumphs over evil is a belief that almost all cultures around the world seem to embrace. Though different people see different things as good, and different people see different things as evil, in most religions, cultures, and philosophies, the belief that good triumphs over evil is widely held. As Anne Rice is quoted saying “Evil is always possible, and goodness is eternally difficult.”
This quote explains a widely held belief that there is good as well as evil in the world, and that without putting an effort into being good there may not be triumph over evil. As Edmund Burke stated the only thing necessary for evil to triumph over good is for those who stand for good to not take a stand at all. Of course, good triumphs over evil, just as long as those who hold the belief in good, are willing to stand for their beliefs.
