The whitest white dipped in clinging dirt. Another summer has thrown its corpse on my floor. The streets have given birth to even more strangers. Rivers of urine stripe the sidewalks. It rained the other day and the only thing that occurred to me was it would wash the smell away for a few days. Tonight is the first hot night. Outside my window, the human noise factor is intense. Its past midnight. They talk too much. They scream liquor-fueled idiot chatter. I pull away and close the door. I think about how its all going to play out. How much time people spend trying to get across to each other, trying to clear their names. Trying to overturn the charges brought against them. I have decided to tell them that its all true and not seek a fair trial. Its the only way to be free. Stop trying to matter. I could get my body tattooed with air-colored ink and walk invisibly amongst them. I have heard people say that they felt closer to their parents after they have died. Maybe if I treat people

No better friend, no better love. A bad boy yet a good man Strong inside and out, with a gentle heart and hand. Too easy it is to fall for him, and see your future in his eyes. Not worrying then of times to come, not thinking of goodbyes. So there you stand with dog tags on, worn close around your neck. Waving goodbye to him and praying, for the day that bus comes back. Then its lonely nights in bed, waiting for the phone to ring. Dreaming of the times you've had, remembering everything. You wait for letters sent by him, and cherish every word he writes. Reading them each over again, to help get through the lonesome nights. You wake up to midnight phone calls, to hear how he has been And say I love you enough times to last, until you talk to him again. You do your best to tough it out Without a shoulder on which to lean. Smiling while thinking of how it feels To fall in love with your Marine!

When I left the room he said to Ben Stiller, 'There goes the future Mrs. Apatow.' I guess he had some kind of plan worked out. He asked me out on a date, and I thought it was just a drink with a friend. But I remember looking at him and thinking, 'This is the type of guy I should be with, not those jerk-off guys who don't treat me right.' So I guess his little plan worked, and it's all history. Before meeting Judd, I was always into the scruffy guys, those dudes who work at the newspaper stand and smoke all day, guys who were no good and treated me badly. Then when I got the job on The Cable Guy, it was a real shock because I was suddenly surrounded by all these incredibly funny men. It just blew my mind. I wasn't used to that. The loser guys I'd been hanging out with weren't funny at all. And now I was working with Matthew Broderick, Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller and Judd. They were the funniest guys in the world. It was like a dream.

A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people would listen to what he had to say. I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo? The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can'

Playing Arthur, I'm sorry to sound sappy, but it was a gift from the Gods. I've always been a working actor and I've always made my living in acting for a long time. I'd been auditioning for that show, I knew the casting directors pretty well. Arthur was the fifth character I auditioned for on the show. They kept bringing me in for parts and not finding anything for me. I actually wasn't supposed to audition for the part of Arthur, I was auditioning for one of the gay choir members from David's choir. Then I read about that part and went, 'Oh my God, that's perfect for me.' And I asked permission to read for it right then and there. I went in and auditioned without any preparation whatsoever and I think that probably helped me because I didn't overthink it. It was an amazing experience. Those shows are so well written and so well acted they're like little one-hour movies. So in a way I got to do like twelve or thirteen little one-hour movies as a very interesting and complex character. Everyone was really cool. Alan Ball, all the artists behind that show, were just so supportive and great and that really helped launch my career. I'm really grateful to the show for that.

A father is always making his baby into a little woman. I can't wait for the day that I get married. I will finally be able to spend the rest of my life with the woman of my dreams, the love of my life. We'll be happy. We'll have a fun, playful marriage. We'll raise our beautiful children, we'll teach them right. I will always be there for my kids, whenever they need me, daddy will be there. When summer comes, we'll go on family vacations. I'll take everyone to disney land and take them to nice places. I'll watch my kids grow up into fine adults and when they leave to start their own lives, it'll just be me and her. We'll spend the rest of our days living happily together, doing things we've always wanted to do. Things like traveling the world, going on a cruise, and anything else we can think of. Finally, when we grow old, we'll reminisce about our lives. We'll talk about how we first met and all the crazy things we used to do while young. Then when it's our time to leave this world, the love me and her will share will never fade cause a love like that, true love never fades.

JESTER, n. An officer formerly attached to a king's household, whose business it was to amuse the court by ludicrous actions and utterances, the absurdity being attested by his motley costume. The king himself being attired with dignity, it took the world some centuries to discover that his own conduct and decrees were sufficiently ridiculous for the amusement not only of his court but of all mankind. The jester was commonly called a fool, but the poets and romancers have ever delighted to represent him as a singularly wise and witty person. In the circus of to-day the melancholy ghost of the court fool effects the dejection of humbler audiences with the same jests wherewith in life he gloomed the marble hall, panged the patrician sense of humor and tapped the tank of royal tears. The widow-queen of Portugal Had an audacious jester Who entered the confessional Disguised, and there confessed her. The point is that descriptive writing is very rarely entirely accurate and during the reign of Olaf Quimby II as Patrician of Ankh-Morpork some legislation was passed in a determined attempt to put a stop to this sort of thing and introduce some honesty to reporting. Thus, if a legend told of a notable hero that all men spoke of his prowess any bard who valued his life would hastily add except for a couple of people in his home village who thought he was a loony, and quite a lot of other people who had never really heard of him. Poetic simile was strictly limited to statements like: His mighty steed was fast as the wind, on a fairly calm day, say about Force Three, any loose talk about a beloved having a face that could launch a thousand ships would have to be backed by evidence that the object of desire did indeed own a very large seaport. Patrician Olaf II was eventually killed during an experiment conducted in the palace grounds to prove the disputed accuracy of the proverb The Pen

Yes, life is hard. As you grow older, you'll learn what true heart-wrenching pain feels like. You'll realize that majority of the people you once believed in will let you down. You'll fall in & out of things that you think are love, & it'll hurt. There'll be people out there that want to see you fall down, it might happen. But you'll get up, fake a smile, & move on. You'll go from being called a brat to a bi.... You'll be pressured to do bad things. You'll keep secrets. You will regret, but forget. You'll be heartbroken, and break some hearts. You'll fight with your best friend, & either keep or lose that friendship. Things will get unbearable, & you will spend a lot of time crying. You'll miss the spirit of your innocence. You will survive though, I promise. You'll fight on & you will live to see another day. You will find true love where you least expect it, you will be adored by many. Life will move on& you'll realize that all the pain & confusion brought you closer to happiness.

Whatever people say, I do think there is a good side to Wall Street. It was created almost as a civic service to fund our wars. It wasnt created for this greedy, self-indulgent Get rich mentality. It wasnt always that way and its not always that way now. Its not all of them who are corrupt and the guys that Ive met arent that way. They do a lot of good things and raise a lot of money for charity. Theyll raise $70 million in a night. Its easy to just point fingers at the rich guys, but there are a lot of quality people who arent motivated solely by greed. I think what you end up with often on Wall Street is the guys who couldnt make it onto the sports team at school; a lot of them wanted to be competitive athletes and found themselves in finance, which is just as competitive a field. Its a kill or be killed mentality. Its very competitive worse than Hollywood. I still trade every morning. I come from poverty and its like night and day. My mother laughs about it: she went on welfare, we had no money and now Im trading $300,000 in the morning. Its outrageous.

1)It is obvious, for survival and problem solving purposes, we live in two worlds, the mind and the environment. The environment is all that exists outside the mind, including my foot or my body. The body is considered part of the environment because discovery takes place there, you discover a mole, not think it up. 2)All discovery and surprise takes place in the environment (as research scientists, battlefield commanders, examining doctors, and auditors, etc, already know ). The environment defies logic because it evolves and so one must go to it to investigate, research, and experiment....not sit in a chair and just meditate.. 3)God (or evolution if you please) alone creates all the existing entities, players, animals, insects, fish, and planets, etc, that exist ( humans don't create these players/entities ). Humans came on the scene surrounded by these players. Defenseless, we could only observe and notice what they did or could do and when they did it, etc. We observed relationships and remembered. Even the stars above appeared to have useful patterns/relationships. 4)Humans have always negotiated their way in the world by capturing perceived relationships among and between the players and entities by using observation and thought. Humans ascended by climbing the ladder of relationships and then exploited these relationships. Einsteins perceived relationship between energy, mass, and the speed of light lead to exploitable atomic weapons. 5)Relationships are the sum and summary of all intellectual activity. The mind feeds upon and grows with its knowledge of relationships. New relationships are the product of creative thought, usually aided with observation. Problems are solved by and with the sudden apprehension of a new and viable relationship. 6)A solution, to be a solution, must share some of the characteristics of the problem. It is the pursuit of a shared characteristic that can identify a sought after relationship leading to a useful solution. A good problem solving method then is to describe a problem in written painful detail and then follow each characteristic always on alert for possible relationships. Here, the body is considered part of the environment because discovery and surprise take place on the body, you discover a mole on your leg, not think it up. 2)All discovery and surprise takes place in the environment (as research scientists, battlefield commanders, examining doctors, and auditors, etc, already know ). The environment however, defies logic, because it evolves and so one must go to it to investigate, research, and experiment....not sit in a chair and just meditate.
