Brevity is the most essential part in elocution in particular, and as William Shakespeare puts it, “brevity is the soul of wit “. To put things in short concise form, needs a lot of talent. It is useless to use two words where only one is enough. Brevity and conciseness are the parents of correction. Eloquence will be praised only when brevity is present.
It is essential not only for an orator but for a senator too. When you talk too much, people tend to forget most of what you say and if the words are fewer, they remember more. Hence it is profitable for both to adopt brevity. The quotes on brevity are thought provoking and let us use lesser number of words here too. Share them with others too and ask them to follow this advice.
