Public policy is a course of action adopted and pursued by a government. Invariably, public policy is never accepted by the opposition parties in all countries. Whether it is a good public policy or otherwise, it is not supported by the opposition parties. But the government should find if the public policy is good for the masses and implement them. Public policy is more or less steady and once it is adopted by a party, will not make big changes in the policy. “Much of the self righteous nonsense that abounds on so many subjects cannot stand up to three questions; compared to what? At what cost? And what are the hard facts?” said Thomas Sowell. Public policy narrates objectives that are related to health, morals and the well being of the citizen. So, it is imperative that public policy is framed well with the goodness of people in mind.
