We keep the sediments of the past in the form of regrets, resentments, grudges, arrogance, defeatist attitude etc. that sap our energy and drag us from behind. Similarly relating to future we allow the fear of future, doubts of failure, suspicion of others, constant anxiety, negative expectations, imagined oppositions etc., to dominate our mind, weakening us thereby.
