I sometimes talk about the making of a poem within the poem.

The heart of the matter seems to me to be the direct interaction between one's making a poem in English and a poem in the language that one understands and values. I don't see how you can do it otherwise.

Tell me baby if it's wrong. To let my hands do what they want. Late at night I pretend we are. Dance, dance, da-dance dancing in the dark.

How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.. Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.

It's one of my strongest dance pieces - having just done Play Without Words which was veering away from a lot of dance - I thought it would be nice to go back to something with almost the most dance I'd done.

1 - 2 The most original sin is not the thinker's but the poet's. Jose Bergamin The novel is born of disillusionment; the poem, of despair. Jose Bergamin Theology is the logic of the Devil. Jose Bergamin There are no good or bad habits. All habits are, by definition, bad. Jose Bergamin There are those who dance to the rhythm that is played to them, those who only dance to their own rhythm, and those who don't dance at all. Jose Bergamin To be ready to fail is to be prepared for success. Jose Bergamin To be thirsty and to drink water is the perfection of sensuality rarely achieved. Sometimes you drink water; other times you are thirsty. Jose Bergamin To light one candle to God and another to the Devil is the principle of wisdom. Jose Bergamin To sin offers repentance and forgiveness; not to sin offers only punishment. Jose Bergamin True art tries not to attract attention in order to be noticed. Of course a poem is a two-way street. No poem is any good if it doesn't suggest to the reader things from his own mind and recollection that he will read into it, and will add to what the poet has suggested. But I do think poetry readings are very important.

Before you run away from me before you're lost between the notes. Just as you take the mic. Just as you dance, dance, dance.

If I wrote in a sonnet form, I would be distorting. Or if I had some great new idea for line breaks and I used it in a poem, but it's really not right for that poem, but I wanted it, that would be distorting.

The poem is a little myth of man's capacity of making life meaningful. And in the end, the poem is not a thing we see-it is, rather, a light by which we may see-and what we see is life.

With the question of the effect of a poem, the topic of investigation shifts from that of textual autonomy to textual reception - to the issue of what we actually look for or find in reading a poem.

In the past I have declined to comment on my own work: because, it seems to me, a poem is what it is; because a poem is itself a definition, and to try to redefine it is to be apt to falsify it; and because the author is the person least able to consider his work objectively.

Myths quotes
Life is like a dance. You rise, you fall, you spin and you crawl. But like the dance, life is beautiful, sometimes you are sharp and rough. Other days you are smooth and graceful. Life is a dance where the beginning is the hardest but when you started to flow you glow. Don't over analyze it, just do it. Be who you are at the deepest core of your being.

There are very few dance companies in the world and you have to be phenomenal. You have to not be injured. You have to have a really strong mind to deal with the dance world. People who can do it are amazing to me. You cannot have a life outside of dance.

You've got to sing sometimes like you don't need the money. Love sometimes like you'll never get hurt. You've got to dance, dance, dance like nobody's watching. It's got to come from the heart if you want it to work.

Money quotes
I started dancing when I was young, and I was a dancer my whole life until I got to high school and got into cheerleading. When I was dancing I would dance three times a week and compete on the weekends, and all I did was dance. I would tell my parents that I didn't want to dance and wanted to play other sports like soccer. My mom always said "No, you're going to break your legs, you have to keep dancing." I always complained about it, and now my mom is like, 'Oh, so now see where dancing has gotten you.' I also won a dance competition to become a Nitro Girl for WCW. And now who knows what will happen because I'll be in a dance competition on national television. So, I have to thank my parents for pushing me into dancing when I was growing up. I'm not only going to do this for myself, but I want to do this for every WWE fan out there.
