Virtues are seeds of greatness. Virtues are habits of mind, heart, and behavior. They develop through deliberate practice. Forming of a persons character lies in their own hands. Wisdom, justice, fortitude, self control, positive attitude, hard work, integrity & humility are virtues which makes one a person of character.

INK, n. A villainous compound of tannogallate of iron, gum-arabic and water, chiefly used to facilitate the infection of idiocy and promote intellectual crime. The properties of ink are peculiar and contradictory: it may be used to make reputations and unmake them; to blacken them and to make them white; but it is most generally and acceptably employed as a mortar to bind together the stones of an edifice of fame, and as a whitewash to conceal afterward the rascal quality of the material. There are men called journalists who have established ink baths which some persons pay money to get into, others to get out of. Not infrequently it occurs that a person who has paid to get in pays twice as much to get out.

Conversation, to take another example, is one of the common pleasures of life, but not all conversation is pleasurable. The stutterer finds talking painful, and the listener is equally pained. Persons who are inhibited in expressing feeling are not good conversationalists. Nothing is more boring than to listen to a person talk in a monotone without feeling. We enjoy a conversation when there is a communication of feeling. We have pleasure in expressing our feelings, and we respond pleasurably to another person's expression of feeling. The voice, like the body, is a medium through which feeling flows, and when this flow occurs in an easy and rhythmic manner, it is a pleasure both to the speaker and listener.

OBSESSED, p.p. Vexed by an evil spirit, like the Gadarene swine and other critics. Obsession was once more common than it is now. Arasthus tells of a peasant who was occupied by a different devil for every day in the week, and on Sundays by two. They were frequently seen, always walking in his shadow, when he had one, but were finally driven away by the village notary, a holy man; but they took the peasant with them, for he vanished utterly. A devil thrown out of a woman by the Archbishop of Rheims ran through the trees, pursued by a hundred persons, until the open country was reached, where by a leap higher than a church spire he escaped into a bird. A chaplain in Cromwell's army exorcised a soldier's obsessing devil by throwing the soldier into the water, when the devil came to the surface. The soldier, unfortunately, did not.

HOLY WEEK is not only time to repent, it is also a time to reflect on what we have done to ourselves, to other people and how our relationship with the Lord made us better persons. This is the time of the year where we take time out and talk to the Lord and ask forgiveness for whatever wrong we have done. Try not to celebrate HOLY WEEK at beach. Just reflect and talk to God, This is the greatest gift your offer to the ALMIGHTY. Let us spare this week for our GOD. Let us spend time for Reflection and Pray. Be thankful for all the blessings He bestowed upon us. May we all have a meaningful HOLY WEEK.
