A desire means a strong wish or feeling to possess something or someone. You always desire things which appeal to you and things which you find attractive and worthwhile. Desire makes us go places. If we wish for something, the desire is right and our efforts are tremendous, we are bound to be successful. In the words of Benjamin Franklin, “If you desire for many things, many things will seem a few.”
Desire for any achievement also exists in us, as individuals. The desire is only something that distinguishes achievers from losers. The difference between dreams and accomplishments is purely desire. The intensity, with which you want something, drives you towards that goal and you persevere for it, with hardcore dedication. Hard work never goes unrewarded. You need to have strong desire, for the aim that you want to realise. This unwavering and unflinching desire has been the hallmark of all great achievers, over the centuries.
