War is basically a battle which is quite organized and armed in nature and might be fought between opposing states, nations or parties. A war often gets prolonged when it does not end abruptly. War often involves great aggression from both the conflicting parties and warriors who are waging a war against each other. War is often accompanied by high mortality. War causes huge loss of life and property. The set of techniques carried out to wage a war are called warfare. War is fought using weapons or arms which may be weapons of mass destruction too i.e. chemicals, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons. The absence of war is often referred to as peace. One should always believe in spreading peace and resolve all disputes through negotiations rather than wars or fights. According to Voltaire, “It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.”
