Moving on in life is not as simple as merely letting go of the past. Sometimes you need to look back, replay even the most painful visions and memories, and let yourself feel the sting just a bit to remind you of life as it was and why it can NEVER be that again. Then you focus forward until a gentle reminder is needed once more.
