Generosity is the quality of helping others without expecting anything in return. Generosity is nothing but selfless help for someone’s betterment. Generosity is touted as charity, which is a virtue and is the motto of many registered charities and foundations. Generosity involves spending your time, labour or money to help out someone else, so as to help him or her out. Rarely, do we find generous people in our vicinity that can provide selfless help to the needy.
Horace Mann had once remarked, “Generosity during life is a very different thing from generosity in the hour of death; one proceeds from genuine liberality and benevolence, the other from pride or fear.” People consider generosity to be associated with males rather than females. Gentleness, self-sacrifice and generosity are preached by every religion and race on earth.
