For about seven years. I really like it there. There are a lot of great musicians. The scene is very open. A lot of stuff going on. People's ears are really open, they are not closed. A lot of scenes here, people just get tunnel vision and are into one thing.

I feel like my music is just an extension of my acting. I treat the songs like scenes that tell a story... it's very similar. My favorite thing is when cartoon fans show up to my live gigs! They are always the most kick-butt audience members 'cause they're not trying to act all cool like a lot of the music fans do! It's refreshing!!

Well, basically I started when I was 12 years old in Montreal doing different Canadian children shows, which amounts to basically relative obscurity in terms of an American resume. And then when I was 17 I got cast in the movie Almost Famous and I did two scenes in that and then I went back home and basically had the worst year of acting in my career, where I did two Chevrolet commercials in 12 months.

I think any actor should have a good knowledge about what everybody does on set, so that you're not somebody who just feels that because you're there it's happening. It's actually happening despite you being there with all this great work behind the camera. And I'm very much more appreciative of that as an actor now. Also I think I can be a help to directors in the sense that if they're under pressure I feel I'm somebody they can come to and say 'listen I'm going to have to put these three scenes together - we're not going to have time to just do one of them this afternoon, we'll have to do all three' and you're able to say ok - I understand you wouldn't have to make that decision if it wasn't being forced on you.

We were together in Canada only once to film the club scene. Otherwise either Slavik or I would fly to Canada when we had to film our scenes and then fly back to Asia to continue working. It was a lot of extra flying time - which was difficult and tiring - but we were so happy to work on such a big project movie.

One of the scenes that I'm most proud of is the scene with Jenny and Dana at Jenny's shack. That I'm proud of because it's so funny. But the most fun to do was the dancing scene on the yacht, of course! I had a blast. I was dancing to Put Your Back Into It.

Fake friends are like actors, they will laugh and joke with you til they hear cut and then later they will talk about you behind the scenes.

I think there is a lot in Magic Mike that would have been applicable for this season of True Blood. I definitely got some ideas from shooting Magic Mike for certain scenes that come up this year on True Blood.

Poor in my youth, and in life's later scenes - Rich to no end, I curse my natal hour, Who naught enjoyed while young, denied the means; And naught when old enjoyed, denied the power

Thousands of men executed and buried in mass graves, hundreds of men buried alive, men and women mutilated and slaughtered, children killed before their mothers' eyes, a grandfather forced to eat the liver of his own grandson. These are truly scenes from hell, written on the darkest pages of human history.

I don't want people thinking of me s..ually. I don't want people to be like, 'She's hot-looking,' you know? I want them to listen to me for what I am saying. And I think the best way to do that is to sniff my armpits, and like, sit and burp every now and then. It just completely throws people off. I had a couple of offers to do some hot scenes in the shower with some guy and to make it real hot and s..y. The next thing you know, I'd be the next J.Lo or something. But that's easy. I want it the hard way.

Although I began acting when I was a child I didn't really think about it as a profession until I was around 15. When I was younger I was definitely afraid of kissing boys, so I didn't want to become an actress because I didn't want to have to do those types of scenes. Instead, I was interested in becoming a veterinarian, a marine biologist, a dolphin trainer and then a director. However, the older I got, the more I realized that I had a real passion for acting. I thought if I had the opportunity to do what I loved most and make a living doing it, then why not? So I decided to go for it and I'm so happy that I did.

I liked the movement, technique and philosophy and I was training to be the best. Karate's a very boring sport, but when you know the technique you can go further and further. You need at least six or seven years to understand the philosophy and concentration of karate to know to clean your spirit of everything and dedicate your mind and body to the sport. I also use it for concentration before acting scenes.

God delights in working through our everyday life and experiences. He has an important place in His plan for us even if we are behind the scenes and out of the spotlight. No matter who you are or where your daily journey takes you, when you stay available for His service He will show what He can do with a yielded LIFE.

When I was on the red carpet at the VMA's as a contest winner, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears wouldn't stop to talk to me. You can actually see them blowing me off on camera! The next day on TRL, when Carson asked me about it, I said, 'Whatever, they didn't win anyway.' But my bosses thought it was hilarious. They showed the scenes of Christina blowing me off as one of the top moments on the TRL 'End-of-the-Year Countdown'! Well, a few months later at the Grammys, Christina apologized to me on the air! I was like 'Whoa! She was so nice!'.

The whole place turned into a gigantic orgy, every kind of s.. freak, from homos..uals to nymphomaniacs, especially the needle and mainlining scene, losing syringes down the pool drains and blocking up the water infiltration system with broken syringes. Oh, it was really some night...Drinking, guzzling tequila, vodka, and scotch, and bourbon, and shooting up every other half-second, and just going into an incredible s..ual tailspin. Gobble gobble gobble gobble. Just couldn't get enough of it. It was one of the wildest scenes I've ever been in or ever hope to be in, and I should be ashamed of myself. I'm not, but I should be.

People have been asking me today like what the most challenging part of the movie was, and it wasn't the crying scenes. I think that's much easier than trying to make people laugh. Crying on command is not that difficult. But the parts that were harder for me were after the tragedy happens to Terri in her life, it's kind of like just like a closed-off, numb feeling. She doesn't feel any emotion...no happiness, no sad. She's kind of like nothing. That was the hardest thing for me. And then going to the school and feeling like the outsider, I kind of learned how to do that a lot with Lizzie McGuire because she was the dork that didn't really fit in. And everybody kind of made Terri feel very unwelcome at the school at first.

This is a very different show than any I've worked on before. We work sixty-hour weeks. I work 6AM to 6PM because we are all in almost every scene. Even if there's a scene at the reception desk or there's a scene in Michael's office, we're in the background or passing through, walking through. We're creating that office environment; we're always around so it's very demanding. We also have very little lighting set-ups. They'll just shift a fluorescent light or two between scenes and we just do tons of takes. So the best thing about the show is that the writers are brilliant and the writing is very sharp and very smart. All you need to do is make the writing work but because you're doing so many takes and we have such a great ensemble, you can go anyway that you want to go with it. Once we've gotten it down, you can improvise and change it around and bring in stuff, and add stuff all you want. There is a lot of improvisation on the show. A lot of times we will have a scene and then just keep going. And we do it time and time again. We just keep going, and keep going and keep going and a lot of times that stuff at the end of the scene actually becomes the scene.

My favorite on-screen moment has to be when John and I filmed our dinner scene on the roof during 'The Client.' There was a very small crew up on the roof and they had the cameras really far away. There was a warm breeze and Rainn and Brian were off in the distance setting off really lame fireworks. The whole thing just felt magical. I also love anytime I get to do a party planning scene. Angela, Phyllis and Kate are all so funny. We laugh a lot during those scenes. They are so subtle and passive/aggressive. I love it! My favorite off-screen moment is probably our weekly viewing parties. We have such a great time watching the show together. We cheer for the writer and congratulate cast members for particularly funny bits in the show. Oh, runner-up for best off-screen moment would be how much John made us all laugh when we were filming 'The Fire.' We had to stand outside in the heat for hours but he made us laugh by doing imitations of Angela getting carried away by a giant bug. It was pretty great.
