Deed is some action that is done deliberately. A nice human being is always clean and does good deeds. While a person who is unscrupulous and immoral, indulges in nefarious and wicked deeds. Good deeds are those which are done to help someone and are done for their betterment, or for the betterment of mankind. Charity is a noble deed. Social workers indulge in charity. People who perform great deeds are remembered even after they pass away. To quote William Shakespeare,
“For sweetest things turn sourest by their deeds, Lilies that fester smell far worse than weeds.”
The importance of good deeds has been highlighted in the following quote from the play, Merchant of Venice, by William Shakespeare,
“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a naught world.”
Do good deeds, work for someone's benefit and lend a helping hand to someone else, whenever required.
