... I remember you and recall you without effort, without exercise of will; that is, by natural impulse, indicated by a sense of duty, or of obligation. And that, I take it, is the only sort of remembering worth the having. When we think of friends, and call their faces out of the shadows, and their voices out of the echo.. that faint along the corridors of memory, and do it without knowing why save that we love to do it, we content ourselves that friendship is a Reality, and not a Fancy -- that it is built upon a rock, and not upon the sands that dissolve away with the ebbing tides and carry their monuments with them.

There is nothing in England that exercises a more delightful spell over my imagination than the lingerings of the holiday customs and rural games of former times. They recall the pictures my fancy used to draw in the May morning of life, when as yet I only knew the world through books, and believed it to be all that poets had painted it; and they bring with them the flavour of those honest days of yore, in which, perhaps with equal fallacy, I am apt to think the world was more home-bred, social, and joyous than at present.

Ordinary people, even weak people, can do extraordinary things through temporary courage generated by a situation. But the person of character does not need the situation to generate his courage. It is a part of his being and a standard approach to all life's challenges. Were all ethical in our own eyes. Although we are usually judged by our last worst act, we usually judge ourselves by our most noble deeds, our best intentions and our most virtuous traits. Character is not a fancy coat we put on for show, its who we really are.

Im the girl who prefers one rose instead of a dozen. Im the girl who wouldn't make you wait on her hand and foot, but would do anything to make you happy. Im the girl who would enjoy having a movie night rather than going to some fancy restaurant. Im the girl who would rather stay up all night sharing secrets than go out and getting drunk. I'm the girl who'd give the world to see you smile:)

I feel like Im so grateful for my life. I really love my family and I feel their blood in my veins. But I grew up in a very un-posh environment with a struggling single mother. We were both paying the rent together. It was a tough circumstance, but I think that gave me a sense of gratitude. I worked as a waitress so Im a crazy tipper, I respect people that work. I work myself really hard and I think to be raised in a working class environment was very helpful. As extraordinary and fancy and decadent as the Barrymores are I did not grow up in that kind of environment.

It will be two o' clock in the morning your sitting in your bed, eyes wide open, and everyone's asleep. All of a sudden you start to wonder why you are sad and broken in the inside. Thoughts run through your head about bad memories and unforgettable pasts. You cry a river soundlessly in your pillow so no one would know your crying. You get up from your bed, tiptoeing to your desk for a pencil and paper. You cool down and ease the sadness of your heart as you look out at the full moon, watched by leafless trees. You slouching against the wall beside your desk writing the story of your life, as a cold fall breeze rushes through your hair, as it tickles through your lonely soul...

CUPID, n. The so-called god of love. This bastard creation of a barbarous fancy was no doubt inflicted upon mythology for the sins of its deities. Of all unbeautiful and inappropriate conceptions this is the most reasonless and offensive. The notion of symbolizing s..ual love by a semis..less babe, and comparing the pains of passion to the wounds of an arrow --of introducing this pudgy homunculus into art grossly to materialize the subtle spirit and suggestion of the work --this is eminently worthy of the age that, giving it birth, laid it on the doorstep of prosperity.
