If you say that the history of the Church is a long succession of scandals, you are telling the truth, though if that is all you say, you are distorting the truth

You generally hear that what a man doesn't know doesn't hurt him, but in business what a man doesn't know does hurt.

When I am able to resist the temptation to judge others, I can see them as teachers of forgiveness in my life, reminding me that I can only have peace of mind when I forgive rather than judge.

Intellectuals are people who believe that ideas are of more importance than values. That is to say, their own ideas and other people's values.

I would expect the Spider-Man mask to be out quite a few times this season but his real talent comes in creating goals. He is a fantastic winger, can beat players with ease and is a fantastic crosser of the ball. If Newcastle have one or two good target men, I think they can have a really good season because Jonas will create a lot of chances for the strikers. He can fire Newcastle to a top-six finish and win the player of the season award above names like Rooney.

When the body sinks into death, the essence of man is revealed. Man is a knot, a web, a mesh into which relationships are tied. Only those relationships matter. The body is an old crock that nobody will miss. I have never known a man to think of hims.

I have a skincare company called PerfectSkin that will be launching in a couple months. Were just creating the packaging and the formulas right now. Its all my sisters favorite products, like a kit with acne treatments, cleanser, toner, moisturizers. Then well have a mask, self-tanning products and maybe get into hair and anti-aging. Im also starting a Web site company called Luxxie.com.

I beg you, look for the words 'social justice' or 'economic justice' on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words.

It's my firm conclusion that human meaning comes from humans, not from a supernatural source. After we die, our hopes for an afterlife reside in the social networks that we influenced while we were alive. If we influence people in a positive way...even if our social web is only as big as our nuclear family...others will want to emulate us and pass on our ideas, manners, and lifestyle to future generations. This is more than enough motivation for me to do good things in my life and teach my children to do the same.

Great white sharks are iconic top predators that are basically keeping the entire food web of our ocean in check. They regulate populations of seals and sea lions and that benefits entire ecosystem including our fisheries. Ultimately the loss of top predators like sharks could have disastrous consequences for oceans and coastal economies that depend on it.

Every fact of science was once Damned. Every invention was considered impossible. Every discovery was a nervous shock to some orthodoxy. Every artistic innovation was denounced as fraud and folly. The entire web of culture and "progress," everything on earth that is man-made and not given to us by nature, is the concrete manifestation of some man's refusal to bow to Authority. We would own no more, know no more, and be no more than the first apelike hominids if it were not for the rebellious, the recalcitrant, and the intransigent. As Oscar Wilde truly said, "Disobedience was man's Original Virtue."
