I think by eighth grade I knew I wanted to be an actor. I'd done church plays and stuff, but my first actual acting class was in eighth grade. I was obsessed with it.

It got so bad that by the time I was graduated, the only reading I did was in order to get the grade and the only writing I did was in order to get the grade.

By the fourth grade, I graduated to an erector set and spent many happy hours constructing devices of unknown purpose where the main design criterion was to maximize the number of moving parts and overall size.

The pressure is the same every year. I am here because I try my best every day and because I have a lot of motivation to try to win the tournament. It is not because it's the seventh, but because it's Roland Garros. It's one of my top tournaments of the year, if not the most important. So seriously, extra pressure for me with it being the seventh is zero. The pressure is the same as in any other final of Roland Garros, and that's the most important thing for me.

I've been dumped by women more times than I really care to remember, One of the first times involved a moving vehicle. I was in the eighth grade and I got off the school bus and as it was pulling away, some girl yelled out the window at me that her friend was breaking up with me.

Told that the passing grade is a B or competence and that we will help you to get there, students do competent work. The lowest passing grade in the real world is competence. Why do schools accept so much less?

I've always been a late bloomer. My body developed late. From ninth to 10th grade, I grew like 3 inches. Just kind of stretched out. I was like 6-1, grew to 6-4 in 10th grade.

In fifth grade I started out writing simple raps and bringing them to school and everyone thought they were hot. I used to spit in the lunchline all the time. I think I even got free milk out of it one time. I remember I had to do a project on a book we read in my 6th grade language arts class. I wrote a rap. I got an A. I guess I've been a beast since day one.

What's done is done; What is gone is gone. One of life's lessons is keep moving. It's OK to look back and think of fond memories, but always keep moving forward.
