We have the opportunity of observing her through these delicate and pellucid teguments of the bodies of Insects acting according to her usual course and way, undisturbed, whereas when we endeavour to pry into her secrets by breaking open the doors upon her, and dissecting and mangling creatures whil'st there is life yet within them, we find her indeed at work, but put into such disorder by the violence offer'd, as it may easily be imagined how differing a thing we should find, if we could, as we can with a Microscope, in these smaller creatures, quietly peep in at the windows, without frighting her out of her usual byas.

I consider then, that generally speaking, to render a reason of an effect or Phaenomenon, is to deduce It from something else in Nature more known than it self, and that consequently there may be divers kinds of Degrees of Explication of the same thing. For although such Explications be the most satisfactory to the Understanding, wherein 'tis shewn how the effect is produc'd by the more primitive and Catholick Affection of Matter, namely bulk, shape and motion, yet are not these Explications to be despis'd, wherein particular effects are deduc'd from the more obvious and familiar Qualities or States of Bodies...For in the search after Natural Causes, every new measure of Discovery does both instinct and gratifie the Understanding.

Death. We view death, as influenced by our upbringing. Death. The end. Game over. If we were to take Death in a different angle of perspective, such as an idea...as they say 'Ideas can never die'. And if we were apply this idea to ourselves, the world would be significantly different. An idea can be represented by various embodiment's and forms of it, however, these are just representation, and not the essence of the idea itself. These representations of an idea can be destroyed, but the idea can never perish. If we view our bodies, thoughts; our entire world to be a representation of our 'idea', then life is far different. The idea being that, we are energy, we are an idea. If destroyed, the idea remains - Energy cannot be destroyed. An idea, an energy is not defined or segregated into different segments...everything is one. All connected. All the same. Unity. So in this perspective, Death isn't so bad, now is it?
