Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man.

The internet is the most powerful tool we have for creating a more open and connected world. We can't let poorly thought out laws get in the way of the internet's development. Facebook opposes SOPA and PIPA, and we will continue to oppose any laws that will hurt the internet. The world today needs political leaders who are pro-internet. We have been working with many of these folks for months on better alternatives to these current proposals.

I think if I've learned anything about friendship, it's to hang in, stay connected, fight for them, and let them fight for you. Don't walk away, don't be distracted, don't be too busy or tired, don't take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.

Jackie come to me and says, 'We gonna do a fight scene.' I said 'What?' He says 'We got to do a fight scene in the next scene. I have to teach you.' I say 'How you gonna teach me in three seconds?' ...What we did, we did the fight scene with our arms connected.

I knew from the time I was 13 that I wanted to be an actress. I idolized Evan Rachel Woods performance in Thirteen, and was so emotionally disturbed by that film. The way she connected to me through her acting in that film made me want to make people feel the way she made me feel. Then I watched The Lizzie McGuire Movie and cried because Lizzie finally realized her dreams of being a successful actress! So, I sort of owe my career to those fine young actresses.

Indeed, nothing is more critically connected to happinessboth our own and that of our childrenthan how well we love and support one another within the family.

I guess what I like most about NY is that it feels like home to me. I was born here in 1977 and have lived here, on and off, my whole life. I feel very connected to NY. I love how much it has to offer, though it still feels small and cozy. There are so many amazing things to see here: incredible art, just about every film, amazing music, all kinds of interesting people. I like to ride my bike on the Hudson River . I like that I can walk my dog around two blocks and he meets about 20 other dogs to play with. I like that I can get a turkey sandwich at 4 in the morning if I want to. A beautiful night out in NYC can be any night because anything can happen. It is spontaneous and surprises you all the time.

I grew up with nothing and nobody ever told me I could do anything. I never knew my father, and my mother wasnt the best, most stable person. My grandparents raised me, and my grandmother never really connected with me. I just had a home. So I was kind of left to my own self. When I found out that nobody had ever graduated from high school in our family, I wanted to be the first one to graduate. By the time I was 11, I wanted to be a comedian. So all those years later, Ive managed to achieve my dream as a kid, and it wasnt easy. Im on the Walk of Fame and Im one of the 25 most influential Hispanics in America, according to Time Magazine. I think my duty is to go back and tell kids, Whatever color you are, wherever you come from, anything and everything is possible. And Im living proof.

Never confuse intellect with intuition. INTELLECT is based on rationality ,logic ,and facts connected with brain-- INTUITION is based on feelings, emotions, faith in GOD, and hope that transcend all intelligence.

I remember when I was a little girl at her house in Brittany. When she cooked, she wouldnt waste anything. And my parents always raised me to believe that the most important thing was respect. Respect the place you live, be aware of the impact that you have on things. I was lucky to have this education growing up. I was born in Paris and raised in the suburbs and then lived in the countryside. We had a beautiful house with a huge garden. When I moved to the country, I was really connected to nature and the seasons. So when I finally went back to Paris, I had a very hard time connecting with the city again and the way we waste so much. I started to read and teach myself about the environment and why it was not organic and natural to be living in the city.

This is it, folks. This is the idea which has kept me virtually unknown for the past 16 years. I have watched my crowds dwindle. I am going nowhere, and nowhere quick, but, those of you who have children, I am sorry to tell you this, but they are not special. Wait! I know some of you are going "what, what?" Let me just clarify: I know YOU think they're special ... ha ha ha! I'm aware of that. I'm just here to tell you, that they're NOT! Ha ha ha ha! Sorry. Did you know that every time a guy comes he comes two-hundred million sperm? One out of TWO-HUNDRED MILLION that load, we're only talking about one load connected: gee, what are the fu..ing odds? Do you know what that means? I've wiped nations off've my chest with a grey gymsock. ENTIRE CIVILISATIONS HAVE FLAKED AND CRUSTED IN THE HAIR AROUND MY NAVEL! [...] I've tossed universes in my underpants while napping. Boom! A Milkyway shoots into my jockeyshorts: "Unngh ... what's for fu..ing breakfast?!"

Humour quotes
I started seeing 11:11 on clocks, receipts, bank clocks, EVERYWHERE about 7 years ago. Here is what I've learned since then. 11:11 is a wake-up call for lightworkers. Lightworkers are people who signed up for a "green beret" type of mission when they were on the spirit plane ( before being incarnated on Earth). What the mission is, in short, is to hold as much Light as possible, as strongly as possible, on this planet. This twenty year period (starting on January 11, 1991) will see matter holding more light than it has ever held before. The vibration on this planet has dropped to a very, very low frequency. That is why it is so difficult to remember our origin, remember that we are all connected, remember who we really are. This is often referred to as the Fall. This mission is very important and very difficult. As I see people around me go through so much, I understand why some go back home. It's intense here right now.

Death. We view death, as influenced by our upbringing. Death. The end. Game over. If we were to take Death in a different angle of perspective, such as an idea...as they say 'Ideas can never die'. And if we were apply this idea to ourselves, the world would be significantly different. An idea can be represented by various embodiment's and forms of it, however, these are just representation, and not the essence of the idea itself. These representations of an idea can be destroyed, but the idea can never perish. If we view our bodies, thoughts; our entire world to be a representation of our 'idea', then life is far different. The idea being that, we are energy, we are an idea. If destroyed, the idea remains - Energy cannot be destroyed. An idea, an energy is not defined or segregated into different segments...everything is one. All connected. All the same. Unity. So in this perspective, Death isn't so bad, now is it?
