Ushering in your 18th Birthday, say hello to a driver's license, multiple dates, credit cards, a room of your own and your own phone bills. How does that sound for a life ahead? Happy 18th Birthday!

18th Birthday quotes
If God permitted divorce rather than death as a merciful concession to man's sinfulness, why would He not also permit remarriage, since remarriage would be perfectly allowable under the original law of death for the adulterer? After all, the purpose of divorce was to show mercy to the guilty party, not to sentence the innocent party to a life of loneliness and misery.

I saw the bus lying right on him. I saw his legs sticking out. I freaked. The bus driver, I recall, was trying to yank the blanket out from under him to use for other people. I just went, Dont fu..ing do that! I already wanted to kill the guy. I dont know if he was drunk or if he hit some ice. All I knew was, he was driving and Cliff wasnt alive anymore.

The truth [is] that there is only one terminal dignity - love. And the story of a love is not important-what is important is that one is capable of love. It is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity.

In some movies you feel like you're a very small part of a huge machine. Whereas in the theater you can have a very small part, but you can still feel the weight and the gravity of it. Given the nature of theater, it's a more concentrated and quiet experience.

And when human rights are being thrown aside, ignored, well, there's no game in progress, that's all -- in spite of the childhood bible, the comic strip. It believes that only when you're permitted to murder, kill, rob and burn can a game be in progress. That is the message carried to us by the Sunday papers. And that is the message which every child erroneously learns.

Then a dog began to howl somewhere in a farming house far down the road - a long, agonized wailing, as if from fear... Then, far off in the distance, from the mountains on each side of us began a louder and a sharper howling - that of wolves - which affected both horses and myself in the same way - for I was minded to jump from the caleche and run, whilst they reared again and plunged madly, so that the driver had to use all his great strength to keep them from bolting.

The most important thing for small businesses is getting the economy back on its feet. That - the key driver of small business activity is demand for their product, and that is what we are trying to do, getting the economy back on its feet. That's far more important than other factors.

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flat tires called Jobs, but if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perserverance, a driver called Will Power, you will make it to a place called Success.

FORMA PAUPERIS. [Latin] In the character of a poor person --a method by which a litigant without money for lawyers is considerately permitted to lose his case. When Adam long ago in Cupid's awful court (For Cupid ruled ere Adam was invented) Sued for Eve's favor, says an ancient law report, He stood and pleaded unhabilimented. You sue _in forma pauperis_, I see, Eve cried; Actions can't here be that way prosecuted. So all poor Adam's motions coldly were denied: He went away --as he had come --nonsuited. --G.J.

I was at a loose end, and someone suggested that it would be something that I should take a look at, and pretty much offered me free acting classes. On a whim, I was so like "this might be cool", I was skeptical at first. I don't really see myself doing community theatre, so I really don't know why I would take acting classes, you know what I mean? I was 20, and it just sort of jumped in my lap, I just ran into someone who knew an acting teacher and he referred me to classes. It was suggested to me that I had potential and if I were to pursue it, then I could probably be successful. I had nothing else going on in my life whatsoever at that point; I was a roofer, I was a cab driver. I was doing nothing, right, so I just completely pursued it. I just moved to Vancouver to pursue it.
