Confusion means making someone perplexed or bewildered. A person is driven into a state of confusion when he or she finds something too complex. The complexity level of something can be so high that a person fails to understand or get the hang of it. Confusion can also arise when one mistakes one person or thing for another. If everything around you is orderly and you have a calm and cool bent of mind, you are not supposed to get confused.
Confusion arises only when you do not have proper understanding of something and you end up getting perplexed about it. In the words of Albert Einstein, “A perfection of means and confusion of aims seems to be our main problem.” Confusion results when you are not sure about anything. When a person is confused, he or she is bound to go wayward and can end up doing himself or herself only harm, no good.
